Okay, it’s been a while since I’ve posted anything on my blog here. And to be honest, there was a simple reason: I don’t really like blogging. Spending my time to talk about my day just to bring people to a website didn’t seem like a good use of my time (or yours!), so I simply stopped.
However, I’ve decided to try and make a go of it once again, but this time on my terms. I’m not going to be talking about what’s going on in my life, or too much about the projects that I’m working on. I want what I produce to have meaning and be useful. As a result, I’ve spent the last year or so thinking about what I can contribute to the community that would help other people.
So here it is. Blog posts here on ChristineChianti.com are going to take the form of book reviews.
As a voracious reader, I’ve constantly got a book (or 3) with me and that doesn’t include the ones that are on my iPhone or iPad which are almost always there too! So I decided that I would share my thoughts on what I’ve read. You will find the topics to be scattered, ranging from non-fiction to mysteries, genre-romance, and of course my favorite romantic suspense.
Speaking of romantic suspense, I am in the final phase of introducing a new podcast aimed at the genre: The Romantic Suspense Insider. Currently it is scheduled to go live on September 2, 2016 and links for each episode will be located on this site as well. TSRI is going to focus on doing book reviews and author interviews on…Romantic Suspense books and authors. I’m hoping it will give a bit of insight to how our minds work as we write these fascinating tales as well as letting our readers get to know us as people as well. As a side benefit, it should also give authors a chance to push their books a little as well.
Well, that’s it for now. I anticipate that the first of my reviews will be up shortly, so I hope you’ll have a reason to check back. Until then, just know, we’re back.
